Mark Rogers is a professional photographer based in San Francisco where he lives with his two best friends: an extremely tolerant and caring wife who encourages and supports him in this awesome, crazy career and a highly energetic and industrious little Corgi-Jack Russell mix named Bizzy.
Mark specializes in photographing pets, people and events. His style is very contempory and candid and he focuses on capturing everyone's individuality and uniqueness with a few dashes of humor and action thrown in for good measure.
He got his start in photography 8 years ago when he began photographing protective custody dogs in the Give a Dog a Bone (GADAB) program based out of San Francisco’s municipal animal shelter. He began doing pet photography professionally in 2006 and has since added kids, couples, families, events and small weddings to his repertoire. His goal, no matter the client, is to capture everyone having a good time.
His work has appeared in the award-winning San Francisco SPCA magazine, Our Animals, and has been published in a number of books. He's also a photographer for the popular Pet Food Express My Mutt Program and runs a popular weekly photo caption contest on Dogster’s For the Love of Dog blog.
