Project Homeless Connect
Contrary to popular belief and to the title of this blog I actually do photograph things besides dogs and pets. On December 5th I had the honor of attending the 19th Project Homeless Connect event held at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in downtown San Francisco.
These events are held here every 6 weeks or so and aim to improve access to services and housing for homeless San Franciscans. Over 1000 volunteers come together to provide services to over 2000 homeless clients. Services range from haircuts to dental care to wheelchair repair.
If you’re looking for a way to give back to your community I highly recommend donating to or volunteering for the next PHC event being held on January 7, 2008 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
