Project Homeless Connect #20
The project homeless connect folks put on their 20th event at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium this week.
It was my second one and I continue to be amazed and awestruck at how smoothly these things go despite all the moving parts and, in this case, an excelerated timetable (they put this on just a month after the last one). I spent more time focusing on client and volunteer interactions this time, particularly in the barber
, cafe and eye exam and registration areas.
Again, if you live in SF or a city that puts on these events I strongly urge you to get involved. Once you do one you’ll understand.
