Lexington, the Maltese Yorkie Mix
Posted on 17. Jun, 2008 by Mark in Dogs, Pet Photography
Last weekend I met one of the cuter dogs I’ve ever photographed. Lexie (her mom spent some time in NYC) is an adorable little maltese-yorkie mix who has her new mom — a first-time dog owner — completely smitten. After our first session I definitely joined the club.
Lexie hasn’t completed all her shots yet so we’ve split the session in two with a first round indoors and a second go after she’s cleared for ground-touching. I can hardly wait to see her puppy her way around the dog park.

What a cute puppy…I was doing a search on Maltese/Yorkie cross when I came across this photo…my Maltese just had a litter of puppies, the father being a yorkie. She had 5 boys and 1 girl, the girl being all black except her chin, chest and the tips of her toes…..I think she will look very much like this one when she gets older. Do you mind if I use this photo to show perspective owners what she may look like? I am not using it for anything else but a visual aid to let people know how cute she will look like. Please email me and let me know at huckaday@shaw.ca Thanks very much. And Bill is so right…I have been trying to get a photo of her, but it just doesn’t do her justice, her eyes and nose are so black that they tend to blend in….she is very hard to photograph!
