Golden Moment
Last weekend a client gave me a wee bit of somewhat deserved grief for not featuring more Golden Retrievers like his beautiful dog, Maya, on my site. “Afterall,” he said, ” They’re only one of the top 5 most popular breeds in the country.” Odd, I thought, I know I’ve photographed more than my fair share but I wonder why I don’t have them up on my blog or any of my featured galleries. I spent some time going through my archives this week and hereby dedicate this post to Maya and all the other underserved Goldens in the San Francisco Bay area.

Funny, I just had my FIRST golden session this past weekend! All the goldens who have been lucky enough to model for you are beautiful — especially TESS! Ahh, she kills me.
Hurray! Mark has given props to one of sweetest, most loyal, and friendliest breeds in the world. Labs are ok, but nothing beats a Golden! I mean look at that smile?

These are so cute Mark! I especially love Tess (darling) and the shot of Maya running. And that’s funny about not having many goldens on your blog! If I had to count the numbers of goldens I have photographed I don’t think I could- they are a very popular breed for sure. I wanted to let you know I am still thinking about our little project and hopefully will brainstorm up something good. Love the web link you sent me, it’s really inspiring!
