Nominated as Best Pet Photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area

Wow. Ever have one of those days where something completely unexpected happens? A few days ago I got an email from a friend congratulating me on my recent nomination. Since the Democratic and Republican Conventions are both over I knew I hadn’t been tapped by Obama or McCain as a potential second in command but I honestly didn’t have a clue what she was talking about.

Turns out our local paper here in San Francisco, The Chronicle, has put together something they’re calling the Baylist that features the best local businesses in a variety of categories and they’re running a contest in each one to pick the top player.

Apparently, I’m one of the nominees for San Francisco Bay Area Pet Photography and I really couldn’t be more humbled or surprised – especially by the multitude of thoughtful reviews posted by my clients and fans. It’s one of those things that just makes you feel exceedingly lucky that you’ve found your dream job and honestly enjoy what you do.

For those of you who’ve voted already I truly thank you. It means more than you know. For anyone who hasn’t and is so inclined I’d be honored to get your vote. (note: if you do vote make sure you both write something and select a star review, otherwise it won’t count)
