What’s In Store?
I really like all my clients but every once in a while you meet someone with request that just makes you smile and realize how much you love your job. I had just such a client last week — I nice man named Dan with two Chihuahua’s named Flower and Blossom (Blossom is actually a mix but we won’t get hung up on that). We had our main shoot a few weeks back but, at the time, Dan indicated that he often took the dogs to Whole Foods after their park outing in the evenings and he really wanted to capture that.
So, part two happened last week and I have to say I really haven’t see anything this cute in quite a while. I think the Whole Foods folks may have found some new spokesdogs.
Dan, Flower & Blossom — enjoy your preview. The rest of the shots are coming soon.

Hi Mark,
Once again your photos capture one of Flower & Blossom’s many personalities. Seeing the photos reminds me how special they are. Thank you for the amazing photos.
Dan
You bet, Dan. The girls are a hoot and Whole Foods should be glad to have them as ambassadors
Dear Mark,
I’ve known Dan since he was a teenager and am so happy that he has these two darling friends in his “middle-age” to keep him on his toes. I love “Blossom and
Flower” as well, reminding me of “little girls” in fur coats, on a shopping spree at
Whole Foods. Yes, they are apt “ambassadors”. Thank you for these wonderful
shots of them. They warmed my Monday morning.
Warm regards,
Patricia D’Alessandro
I love the pictures of the girls.
Make sure to collect on all “royalties” associated with Whole Foods and Milk commercials…..I receive 75% since Flower is my girl.
Love the pics….Great work
Mark,
I love the pictures as usual. The girls are adorable!

Mark,
I love these shots! Isn’t it fun to do a shoot that you would have never thought of on your own? Afterwards you think, that was so cool and it makes you start thinking outside the box. I had that happen recently and I was so pleased with the final results. Thanks so much for your words of encouragement over at my blog BTW. I really needed to hear that and you are soooo right!
These are so adorable. I wish I could bring my pup to the grocery store! I visited Whole Foods last time I was in California and I seriously love it there. Now I love it even more.
Yep. Up until last week I was fairly snobby about Whole Foods but after seeing how the staff there was so friendly with Dan and the dogs and didn’t really treat is as a big deal I’ve changed my mind. Now all I need to do is win the lottery before I shop there.
O.M.G. if those little girls don’t make my great friend (Dan) happy, then nothing ever will. They have softened him up, wrapped him around their paws, and call him Daddy. Just what the doctor ordered.
By the way, talk about shopping….there is a fabulous lap dog store in Ghiradelli Square where I think the next photo shoot should occur. Talk about fashions,
this store (can’t remember the name) has a doggie wardrobe to die for !
Thanks, David, for sharing your baby girl with Daniel and subsequently all of us.
Good work, Kathie C.
awww, this is too cute!! i had no idea whole foods was pet friendly…i hope i get a request like this at least once in my career — you must have had an absolute ball!
