Tippy and Boomer

Don’t you just love it when dogs who’ve lived together for a long time act just like a married couple? Well, meet Boomer and Tippy – a fine pair of pups who both came Hopalong Rescue and have been in their forever home since 2002. I met with them on a fine foggy San Francisco morning at Stern Grove Dog Park for their My Mutt shoot and compared to the one I had today with a single Boxer (more on that later in the week) this was a piece of cake…at least until the pack of terriers and Brussels Griffons showed up (see the last shot below)

The poster will ultimately feature both pups but I’ve included some solo shots as well. So, go ahead and let us know which one you think is would look best hanging at Pet Food Express. Oh, Boomer is the handsome terrier-corgi-dalmatian mix. Tippy is Coon hound Border Collie.

 

Sort of has an American Gothic feel to it…

    My dogs act just like an old married couple. They’ve been like that since we got the other over a year ago.

    I love “Boomer up close and personal”! It’s so full of life!

    Did you have treats with you? This reflects his funny personality the most… as I can attest to having taken him to the park quite a few times! He’s quite food focused.

    Otherwise, for a more formal approach, I like “American Gothic.” I’ve never seen them so stately!

    You’ve gotta pick the third one. It looks like Tippy is whispering to Boomer, “Hey, did you hear our picture is going up in our favorite store? We’ll be famous!”
