Everyone Needs a Goober in Their Life
You ever come across a dog, cat or other pet that really impacts you personally– other than your own, of course? It’s an occupational hazard in my line of work and occasionally I do meet a client who just sticks with me. Goober is one of those clients. I met him last year at a holiday photo shoot I held at a local doggie daycare place and, as you might expect from the name, he’s a big, goofy, supremely loveable guy.
He also just has a gift for making everyone who comes into contact with him smile and feel better. For a large American Bulldog - Pitbull mix this can sometimes be a challenge but Goobs has no problems with it and everyone who meets him is instantly smitten. His owner and I have stayed in touch over the past year and I was utterly thrilled when Goobs came by my outdoor studio on Veteran’s Day this week to do his annual holiday card shoot. Goobs, happy holidays and here are your best shots so far…
Yep, this is Goober’s natural expression

That little tongue slays me. Goober is totally a little Goober.
i think i’m in love with goober. you’ve totally caught his expression, especially with the dorkytongue. what lens do you use- the bokeh is amazing!
