Fiona

Posted on 12. Mar, 2009 by Mark in Dogs, Pet Food Express My Mutt, client sneak peeks

I was really excited to meet Fiona for our My Mutt poster photo shoot. Her mom had described her as a 50-pound terrier with a Mohawk so expectations were very high. I was not disappointed. Fiona is lovely and, in addition to the fetching Mohawk (you make it work, Fiona, you really do) she has a striking pair of bright brown eyes you can see a mile away. Her mom rescued her from Marin Humane Society and has done a great job with her.

We met down at Baker Beach in the late afternoon and Fiona did her high-energy terrier thing up and down beach with her favorite toy while we tried to keep her snout relatively sand-free between shots (didn’t quite clean it off for all of them – see below) . Fiona did great and we have a number of contenders for the poster. Help us pick one by voting/commenting below…

The Sphinx nails it for me.

Absolutely adorable! Those are some great shots. I love the one with the Golden Gate in the background and “a rare moment of stillness”, but, “A wee bit of sand” is my all time favorite. She’s beautiful.
    Great job Mark.

I love scruffy terrier mix mutts. The golden gate pictures are great.

I’m Fiona’s Grandma, I totally love “A Rare Moment of Stillness”. It shows off her features. I told her to smile for her picture and she did. The one about gravity is very nice, too, but my first choice is Stillness.

A moment of stillness is my favorite because it shows her calm, sweet side. The funniest is the gravity one with mom though – reminds me of her best friend Brie who also defies gravity.

Great pics! A rare moment of stillness is good, but my favorite is a wee bit of sand– it’s classic Fiona in all of her loving-life glory.
