Gopher It

I was going back through my archives after a recent shoot and looking for any Weimarener photos – I’ll be darned if there were only two among the countless mixed breeds, terriers (no offense, Biz), Bulldogs, dachshunds, pitbulls and shepherds.

A couple of weekends ago I had the chance to photograph a dressage clinic down in Morgan Hill (photos of that coming soon) and was delighted to learn that the facility where the event was held had a resident Weimarener named Sylvie. Sylvie didn’t make an appearance until late in the day but when she did it was definitely dramatic. One of her favorite pastimes is catching gophers and she decided to trot her latest trophy over for everyone to see. Check it out…but perhaps not on a full stomach
