Miles Davis – A Kind of Cool Dog
Posted on 03. Aug, 2009 by Mark in Dogs, Pet Food Express My Mutt, client sneak peeks
Naming a dog properly is a rarified artform and when you have a pet photo shoot set up with a dog named Miles Davis let’s just say expectations can be rather high.
Well, Miles met and surpassed them. He is a very, very cool dog and perfectly named. I think he might be a Beagle Labrador mix (he’s got Beagle tri-coloring but lab size). Our My Mutt poster shoot was held on an extremely foggy afternoon at Grand View Park in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood. Normally, you can see the entire western end of the city but as you’ll see (or not see) visibility was limited to just a few feet (welcome to San Francisco in the summertime)
Let us know your poster pick for Miles who will hang proudly in the Stonestown Pet Food Express Store representing the Milo Foundation
Oh, and in the last shot you’ll see Miles with his little buddy, Cody, who will be getting his own post soon…

No doubt he lapped from a big bowl of Bitches’ Brew following the shoot.

Mark- You really captured Miles’ spirit! My favorite for the My Mutts photo is the one with the caption “Meet Miles Davis” (Left ear up in the air).

My pleasure, Teri. Miles has enough spirit to make this all really easy

Aw, Miles looks so cute! I’ve tried to get my beagle to run down the stairs, but I guess he just has acrophobia. His grin looks so adorable too! He looks a lot like a beagle, except for the ears. And maybe the long legs =D
