Archy: Dog on the Water

Posted on 19. Aug, 2009 by Mark in Dogs, Pet Food Express My Mutt, client sneak peeks

I’d never been to the Keys before, Bel Marin Keys that is. For those not in the know, this is an area off San Pablo Bay in northern California. The homes there are all on a lagoons or creeks and there’s a levee offering beautiful footpaths and scenery — perfect for my latest My Mutt shoot with Archy.

Archy is an apricot colored Bearded Collie mix who loves to run but isn’t quite sure what to make of the dock behind his house (it took some coaxing to get him out there). He was rescued through the Marin Humane Society and is completely devoted to his family (the feeling is very mutual)

Archy, it was great meeting you. Hope you enjoy your photos.

We loved the pics! Asa and I are both labs and she’s not so sure of the water herself..(she was a show dog). Me on the other hand….I can’t get enough!!! She does love being in the bassboat, but, get her in water up to her t***ies and she’s not very happy! Learn to love the water…it’s great!

Mark! We loved ALL of Archy’s photos! Each one made us go AWWWWWwwwww! In fact, each one shows Archy’s emotions and personality so well. I look forward to seeing some more, but anyone of those look good enough for the poster! “There’s a Smile” really captures my heart………but then they ALL do.

I just want to join Archie by spending time in this lovely place that I’ve never heard of. Lucky, lucky pooch.

What a wonderful time of day too, to capture the beauty of the area. He’s quite the “poster boy”. Well done Lisa, he looks happy.

Archie’s personality is captured in perfect harmony with who he is and his owner. Yet, he looks a lot like an old, Italian dog I know named “Petey”.?
    Sigh~~!

    What a purty pooch :) !
Really great shots! I’d love to visit with Archy, not so sure about that dock either though, there is water under there!
    Lucky dog……..lucky owner!
