It’s been pretty darn hot out here in Northern California – especially over in the East Bay where I photographed a classic odd couple last weekend. Dakota’s a middle-aged Black Lab, Shiloh’s a young Puggle and they really make quite the pair — especially around the pool where they frequently swim and battle for tennis balls and other toys.

    As a pool and dog owner, I can relate. And sure, it’s all fun and fetching now, but what about when it’s time to clean the filter? Where’s man’s best friend THEN, hmmm?

    What a great set of photos (once again)! I’m inspired to try the same with mine. Now if I only had a pool.
