Dogtoberfest: Pups in Costume

Posted on 29. Oct, 2009 by Mark in Dogs, Events

October in San Francisco means one of my favorite annual events: Dogtoberfest. Every year, the good folks of Friends of Upper Douglass Dog Park hold a big party at a local pup haunt. The highlight is a pet costume contest and, as you can see, the dogs don’t skimp when it comes to Halloween.

Just getting the dogs to wear these getups, much less sit still and be photographed, is a feat nothing short of Herculean. A handful of candy corn to all responsible!
