Andy – Big Dog in a Tiny Package
Posted on 21. Dec, 2009 by Mark in Dogs, Pet Food Express My Mutt, client sneak peeks
Sometimes when a dog is given a more human sounding name it doesn’t always work — I met a Dalmatian named Steve once and didn’t really think it fit him him very well. Other times, as in the case of Andy the Yorkie, it’s a perfect match. Andy is a spry 13 and recently won a chance to be on a My Mutt poster because his mom bid on it at a recent fundraiser for Muttville, one of my favorite rescue groups.
Andy is very comfortable in the limelight and in front of paparazzi (he even requested a shot of him with me for this post — see below). He’s also quite the Renaissance man, with an appreciation for fine art.
Needless to say, we’ve ended up with a ton of My Mutt poster contenders. Help us pick the one that will hang in the Market St Pet Food Express store. Andy would love to hear your comments.

If you’ve had a more cooperative subject recently, I can’t think of it!

Hi Mark,
You really captures Andy’s handsome and smart personality.

Andy is sooooo precious and the pictures capture his sweet soul. I really like the way he looks like a prince relaxing on his silk bed throne, totally relaxed and looking like he is totally enjoying being adored. I particularly like the shot of his profile. He will turn a lot of heads and touch a lot of hearts!

Thanks, Emily — especially for the shot of me and Andy. I don’t usually get to see myself at work. Very cool!

Emily – these pictures should be framed and hung in a gallery. They are some of the most touching yorkie pictures I have ever seen. Mark took pictures of Andy’s wise, sweet soul. It would be hard to pick the “best” one, but I do like the one that you said you liked.
Happy Holidays to you and Andy and the rest of your family.

As one who loves Andy, it’s a pickle how to choose just one! I love the profile, but I think my favorite is titled simply “Andy”. Can’t wait to see which you choose – and, even better, see them enlarged and framed.

I like the “coy look,” because it looks like Andy has a dashing moustache!
