Every time you think you’ve heard the best pet name ever along comes someone like Captain Skullcrusher.  At the shelter where he was rescued, Skullcrusher’s name was just plain Captain. His new adoptive parents thought maybe a tougher handle would instill some confidence in the guy and the name just popped into their heads.

It’s all completely ironic, of course. CS is actually really sweet and reserved but he has a cataract in one eye that gives him a somewhat  menacing look.  It actually took a while to coax him out of his hiding spot behind the couch for this shoot but once he was out he did just fine.     I like the second pix best—–Skullcrusher on the stairs. Something about his look and the way he is framed by the railings;very cool.
