Zuni and Phoebe

When I was photographing Phoebe and Zuni a couple of weeks ago at San Francisco City College and Stern Grove I kept hearing the phrase birds of a feather in my head. Just like a couple that’s lived together for a long time this Miniature Dachshund – Italian Greyhound duo have started to resemble each other a little bit. Granted, there are differences–Zuni, the Italian greyhound favors dresses while Zuni prefers going al fresco–but when you look at the photos below there’s still a lot of similarity.

    Awwwwwww, Phoebe and Zuni – you two are pawstively ahh-dorable. Can you come out and play with us 3 doggies? Our Mom wants to play too!!!!!!

    Zuni – Hi this is Jewel. I love the dress!!! I wear clothes too! Mostly cuz I’m just wittle and need warmth but us dogs that wear clothes ARE fashion forward!!!!!!

    I la-la-LOVE the last photo!! That nose and those whiskers…
    Rose, as owner of 2 Italian Greyhounds I can say without hesitation that when away from the spotlight and in the comfort of their home, Italian Greyhounds are anything but nervous :) My two are absolute “pat whores” who will go to great lengths to score themselves a warm lap. And I love them to bits xxx
