Moses

Posted on 26. May, 2010 by Mark in Cats, Pet Food Express My Mutt, client sneak peeks

You gotta love a cat named Moses — especially when he lives with another one named Samson. Moses was my latest My Mutt assignment of the feline variety. I was warned in advance that he could be a bit shy around newcomers  (check out the first shot below) but after an initial warming up period he came out from behind the couch and did a bit of hamming it up for the camera. You can expect to see his poster hanging soon at the Market Street Pet Food Express in honor of Friends of San Francisco Animal Care and Control. Weigh in if you have a favorite shot.

Don’t forget to vote! Just three days until the  Best Bay Area Pet Photographer for 2010 is chosen

Moses is not quite up for moseying out just yet

Too coy looking, you think?

What do you think, slightly indifferent?

I think head on and looking at the camera makes more of a statment

Or more bold and head-on -- looking at the camera?

    Hi Mark,
I just wanted to say, I love your work, I’ve been visiting your website for some time, and I can’t have enough of all the beautiful pictures of cats and dogs…seriously, they make my day.
For Moses, the first shot, the black and white one, is superb! You can really feel him hesitating…should I come out?…what is this guy doing?…
    Perfect capture!

I wondered by your blog from a goggle search on getting dogs to look at the camera. I love to take photos and want to get better & my dog is a common subject.

As for this group of kitty pix, I think the top photo is my favorite and most personality expressive.

    Nice blog and animal photographs!
