Madeline: This Year’s Idol!

I’ve had a nice run with cat photo sessions of late . Photographing cats is always fun and interesting because you rarely know exactly how they’ll react the day you show up. Sometimes they hide and need to be coaxed to come out. Other times they’re feeling a bit more sociable and you can’t pry them away from the camera. Madeline, my latest feline subject fell a bit into both camps: she was initially not too happy to have her Friday morning interrupted by the pawpurrazzi but warmed to it gradually and, by the end of the session, was posing as pretty as you please.

Between us, Madeline is an up-and-coming star. She is the official 2011 PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) Cat Pet Idol and her photo will be gracing posters, cards, invitations and many other promotions for PAWs big annual Petchitecture event next year. In addition, she’s also receiving an honorary My Mutt poster at Pet Food Express (for which this photo session was held). So, without further adieu, meet this year’s Cat Pet Idol, Madeline!

What a beautiful baby! And great pictures. I lost my house recently….had to place most of my babies with others. Realized to late I didn’t have pictures of many. Please ,while you can, have Mark or someone save your memories in pics. You’ll never regrete it. Just to be able to see them again and again would be wonderful!
