Tillman: You Will Believe a Bulldog Can Skateboard

Ok, I admit it. I was a bit of a Tillman skeptic prior to 11:30 AM this past Saturday at the Burlingame Pet Food Express grand opening. I’d heard about Tillman, the world’s fastest skateboarding dog, and even seen the YouTube videos but without seeing him myself I wasn’t a true believer. That pretty much changed by 11:35. I’m here to tell you that Tillman is the real deal. He not only skateboards but he shreds with a vengeance. I mean, seriously, he leans into it and purposely hugs the edges of the course to take advantage of the dips and build speed (not to mention trying to take out photographers that aren’t on top of it). And, let me not forget to mention that he really, really enjoys it. I’ve seen a lot of dog smiles in my day but the skateboard-eating grin on Tillman when he’s making his approach or hitting top speed is a sight to behold. Ok, enough preamble from me. Seems to me I’ve also seen this dog on TV, but I like the photos better. It captures the joy Tillman is clearly feeling!
