Scooter & Kobi

“Cute as the Dickens” is a phrase that came to mind frequently during my recent shoot with a pair of terrier mixes named Scooter and Kobi at Stern Grove in San Francisco. Initially I thought we’d end up having to photograph the two separately but they proved to be quite skilled at posing together and, with the exception of an occasional lapse in attention span–Scooter gets a bit focused on bugs–the shoot went very smoothly. See how they did and let us know which shot you think should hang as their poster at the Fremont Pet Food Express.

Scooter, you practice posing while I keep an eye on things

No tongues, please

Well, at least Kobi heard me on the tongue thing.

Now that's much better

I like the one where both their tongues are out. I’ve been trying practice action shots with my dogs. I really like the ones where they are running.

Go for “Scooter sounds the alert.” It’s got action, albeit oral, plus great frontal views of both dogs.

I love the one where scooter is sounding the alert! I just think when dogs have that rounded mouth they are so CUTE! Really think Great Poster Material is also very good.
Love scooter’s whiskers!

I have these two everyday at my work for daycare and I still can’t get enough of them! They look awesome and professional here! I can totally see them on the front page of a pet magazine! Thank you Mark Rogers for taking such beautiful photos they are truly breath taking ! =)

Wonderful pictures. Our friends Scooter and Kobi are so photogenic. These pics really bring out their character and make them look so real (so don’t worry about the grooming thing auntie Susan). Love the backgrounds, too!

I agree, I think if they were groomed it would detract from their overall Scooter-ness and Kobi-ness. They’re great the way they are!

Scooter-ness and Kobi-ness lol, that says it all. Cute dogs, awesome photos. Been practicing on taking pictures of my dogs and maybe one in 100 is a good one. What I like the most about those photos is, you can really feel how happy those little guys are, full of life.

I really like the Scooter Sounds the Alarm! Shows their different personalities well. Not a perfect pose, but I like it better.

They are the most adorable doggie pictures I have seen. You definitely captured their personalities and how photogenic they are whether alone or together. They are perfect candidates for a doggie calendar (complete with captions!!!) I give them a 5 star rating!!!
