Oliver: May We Please Have Some More?

Posted on 08. Apr, 2011 by in client sneak peeks, Dogs

Until a couple of weeks ago when I met Oliver I hadn’t ever heard of a Bullnese before. I’ve probably seen quite a few but always assumed they were frenchy or pug  mixes. Well, consider me corrected now…and an official fan. What a fun dog. We had the shoot at Alamo Square and ended things with a little sequence in front of the house where they shot Mrs Doubtfire. I also have to say that even though I’m used to folks coming up during a shoot I was really struck by how many people wanted to  meet Oliver — especially kids.

Oliver also has an absolutely hysterical signature move when he chases balls –kind of a cross between a bunny and Peppy LePew’s bounce-hop from the old cartoons. It is truly a riot to behold. Check him out!

What TERRIFIC pictures! I myself am a breeder of this wonderful breed & you truly caught the essence of the adorable & clownish hopping run that these little guys are known for & the really happy go lucky personality that they possess. Excelent work!

    BTW~Oliver is adorable!

Lisa, I laugh every time I think about him running. The best part was when he lost the ball (which was frequent — I take it they aren’t bred for their tracking ability?) and hopped in circles looking for it. It’s been two weeks and my stomach still hurts from laughing during the shoot.
