Grace: Beautiful Dog in Need of a Loving Home

Of all the BADRAP pit bulls and former Michael Vick dogs I’ve photographed over the last few weeks I have to say Grace is about the sweetest. She’s gentle, quiet, has a near-constant doggy grin and just received her Canine Good Citizen award. She also happens to be available for adoption (scroll down to learn more)

Like her friends Jonny Justice and Uba, Grace was rescued from Michael Vick’s Bad Newz Kennels and is going to be featured on a My Mutt poster at Pet Food Express. It’s fitting that a dog named Tinkerbell lives in Half Moon Bay. HMB is about as close to Never Never Land as you can get on this coast and I can’t imagine a better place to be a dog –lots of wide open spaces, lots of beaches and lots of critters to chase. Tink is the latest in a series of adopted pit bulls I’ve photographed for My Mutt posters done for BADRAP and I think this may be the toughest poster decision to date. Help us out and pick the Tink shot you like best.

It’s funny — when I photographed Kona ten days ago or so I was thinking about another dog named Kona that I photographed last year. I went back and checked and I did that shoot exactly one year prior to this one…to the day. What are the odds?

This year’s Kona is a beautiful grey pitbull with a classic pittie grin who loves fetching sticks, balls or anything else remotely throwable. She’s one of several BADRAP pitbulls going up on My Mutt posters in Pet Food Express stores throughout the SF Bay area. Check her out…especially the nifty little trick she can do with her tongue in the last shot.
