I met Ricky last weekend at another photo shoot I held at Under One Roof. When I got there I was a bit concerned because the cool leather bench I usually have as a prop had been sold and all they had left were pink ones. No need to worry because Ricky looked pretty in pink, too. After the inside shoot we grabbed a few shots at Ricky’s nearby home with his favorite toy. Ahhh, a boy and his frog.

Holiday Photo Sessions for Pets at Under One Roof in San Francisco

If you’re like me you probably get really annoyed when the holiday decorations started showing up in the stores right after Halloween. Well, I’m one-upping them bigtime and am promoting holiday card sessions for pets less than a month after Labor Day (at least I waited until the first day of fall)

In all seriousness, I’ve gotten a remarkable number of requests already from folks who want to get a jump on things and have their annual family Christmas and holiday cards all ready to go before the season hits. In honor of all the early bird planners out there I’ve got two sessions already lined up down at Under One Roof in the Castro. The events are being held on Saturday, October 11th and Saturday November 15th. I’ll be at the store on both days from 11 AM – 4 PM

The Cost is $65 for a 15-minute sitting with a portion benefitting Under One Roof. You can choose between two 5×7 prints of your choice or a CD of up to 5 of your favorite proofs.

A few weeks back I held my second photo event at Under One Roof — this one was themed Christmas in July. We had a decent turnout with about half the participants opting to don a holiday costume. For all you ultra-prepared people out there I’ll be holding another photography event at Under One Roof on Saturday, July 19th. The theme this time is Christmas in July so bring your pet on down between 11 and 4 and get your holiday card photo taken care of early this year

Upcoming Pet Photography Event in San Francisco on May 31st, 2008

Very exciting news. On Saturday May 31st I’m going to be at Under One Roof in the Castro photographing dogs, cats, kids and any combination of the three. They just opened this new store and the space is incredible — literally 3X the size of the old one across the street. For those of you who don’t know, UOR is an amazing organization who’s mission is to raise funds for agencies providing HIV/AIDS education and support services.
