On TV: Pets Around the Bay on KPIX Channel 5 - December 5, 2008
Pet Food Express decided to show the making of a My Mutt poster for one of their holiday segments this year and asked me to be filmed while photographing one. The segment aired on their weekly Pets Around the Bay show featured on local CBS affiliate KPIX

Cover Photograph on Bay Woof - November 2008
I've always loved the name of this publication and for November they chose one of my favorite and earliest shots -- a picture of a Give a Dog a Bone pup named Money. This photo was actually the inspiration for my blog's name: Smile Like a Dog.

Cover Shot on San Francisco SPCA Magazine - June 25, 2008
My first published magazine cover shot with the San Francisco SPCA’s award-winning Our Animals quarterly. The subject, Nikah, is an adorable Chi-terrier mix that I met at the SPCA during the Small-dog class we took our own terrier mix to. Congrats, Nikah. You’re a star. Named Dogster Site Photographer and Regular Blogger- June 2008

Published in Another Book - Northern California Experience - May 1, 2008
Photos from Mark Rogers Photography are appearing in a second book this year. It's called Northern California Experience (Marcoa Publishing, Inc and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce) and features a chapter on Pet Camp as a green business in San Francisco along with about a dozen photos I took.

Mark Rogers Photography in Sincerely Fido Greeting Cards - April 2, 2008
25 of some of my favorite images are being featured in a new line of greeting cards called Sincerely Fido. The cards are written from the perspective of pets to other pets or to people -- pretty cute. They've already been noted as a product-to-watch in Modern Dog magazine.

I'm now one of the official photographers for the Pet Food Express My Mutt program where owners make a donation to Pet Food Express in the name of their pet and the rescue group or shelter where they found them and Pet Food Express creates a poster to hang in one of their stores

Photos on MSNBC - December 20, 2007
I should check my horoscope - two press mentions in one day!! I just learned about a second press mention today. On MSNBC there's a story on Cat Safari and one of the shots from my sessions there ended up being used with the story.

On a recent photo shoot at the new Pet Camp - Cat Safari facility up on Sacramento Street in Presidio Heights I had the pleasure of working with a local feline celebucat named Guido. Guido, the famous Italian Kitty, has his own blog called the Guido Gazette and he was kind enough to do a write-up on his Cat Safari experience
