San Francisco Pet Photography
Dog & Cat Photos with Personality
Hi, I’m Mark Rogers
Why did I become a pet photographer? Simple, really. I love animals and I always have. I also love photography (almost as much as animals) and when my grandfather taught me how shoot on his film SLR when I was 8 my first photograph was our black cat sitting in a cluster of bright red azaleas. It took a few extra decades, jobs and a move to San Francisco before I settled on pet photography as a career but here we are almost 20 years later and l still love doing it.
I bring that love and passion to every pet photography session I have whether it’s in my San Francisco studio, at a pet parent’s home, in a park or on location at a commercial shoot for a pet-related brand or business. Capturing the true essence and personality of dogs, cats and other companion animals for the people who love and share their lives with them is what drives me. Making those moments of pets being themselves into beautiful artwork you’ll have forever
Let’s work together to plan a San Francisco pet photography session that will not only be fun but will produce beautiful moments of your best furry friend you’ll have forever.

Next Steps
1. Let’sTalk
We’ll schedule a call so I can learn more about your pet, you and what sort of session will work best. We’ll talk about everything you need to know about details, location options, cost etc. and then book your session.
2. Your Pet Session
Get ready to have fun! We’ll meet at my studio, your home or a location we’ve decided on during our call and you’ll likely witness a grown man crawling around on the ground making animal noises and holding treats or toys with one hand and a camera in the other while your pet has a blast then goes home exhausted and happy.
3. See the Results
Now the even funner part! Two-three weeks after the shoot we’ll meet in person or on zoom to review the amazing images we captured at the shoot and determine the best way to display them on the walls and tabletops of your home. I can mock up options to scale so you can see how they’ll look in your space and guide you as to what will look and work best with your style.
