Say Hi to Your Pet Photogr

There’s a reason I love photographing pets in Marin on San Francisco Bay—you really can’t beat the combo of coastal charm, quiet trails and magnificent views. Over the years, Tiburon pet and dog photography has become one of my favorite parts of the job. The laid-back feel puts pets (and people) at ease and the scenery does the rest.

I’m Mark Rogers, a Bay Area pet photographer specializing in capturing authentic, personality-filled portraits of dogs, cats and other animals.

Sessions are casual, fun and designed just for your pet. They can be high-energy, shy or obsessed with frisbees I’ll meet them where they are-even if that means rolling around in the grass to get the perfect shot. Prefer something indoors? I also offer sessions at your place or in my San Francisco studio.

Let’s create something real, memorable and wall-worthy. Get in touch and we’ll start planning your Tiburon pet photo session

We could not believe how great the pics turned out!!! Mark really captured their personalities and playfulness. We ordered several wall pieces that are the best I have ever seen. The colors are so deep and the dogs seem so real they could jump out of the pictures.

We couldn’t be happier with the experience. Mark managed to capture our dog at her best, which was no small feat as she is rarely still. He captured both her sweet side and her playful side and we will treasure the beautiful photos. Not only is Mark an extremely talented photographer, he is patient, kind, and professional as well.

Kate – Marin, CA

Mark came over to our house to take pictures of our girl Heidi. I was worried at first, because Heidi is a very shy rescue dog. I was shocked to see her literally posing for Mark! He has something about him that really brings out the best in animals. He is magic with animals and behind the camera. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants beautiful pictures of their pet.

You can’t beat Tiburon’s waterfront for pet photos! There’s classic Blackie’s pasture as well as the nearby Richardson’s Bay park. Something more urban to your liking? Downtown’s quaint storefronts and piers add coastal charm and Shoreline Park is right there with views of Angel Island and San Francisco.

Skip the pre-shoot run or long walk—just a normal day with light activity works best. Grooming? Schedule for 1-2 days prior so they aren’t stressed out from being at the groomers. For scaredy cats, if possible close off any rooms they tend to bolt to when new people enter the home. We can also arrange a pre-shoot visit so they know me..

Think of it like packing for a playdate—bring go-to treats, their most-favored toys and any snazzy accessories you’d like to see in the photos. If they’ve got a beloved bed or blanket toss those in too.

My session price covers two pets and two people. There’s a $50 fee per extra subject be they human or animal. Although I’ve photographed as many as 6 animals at a single shoot I’d highly recommend keeping it to 4 or less to keep things manageable,

Same as anywherein the Bay Area outside San Francisco: $340, including the travel fee beyond outside SF. You can also come to me for outdoor or studio shoots in the city for $290 (outdoors or studio). Your booking fee covers the shoot and planning along with holding the date. Wall art, table-top displays and digital file collections are sold separately at your private reveal session a few weeks after your shoot.

IIs the sky blue? My treat stash could rival a pet store . Allergy issues? Give me a heads-up and I’ll bring treats that meet your pet’s gourmet preferences. You can also bring your own high-value treats — just bring twice as much as usual.photogenic your furry friend is.

Most sessions include up to two pets and two people. If you have additional pets (or people) you’d like to include, it’s $50 per extra subject. I’ve done shoots with large groups of animals before—it just takes a little extra planning…and treats!
